Design Ideas from Almost Twenty Years of Projects Completed

So many times, people have contacted me with an idea of what they would like me to make, but are having a hard time visualizing it.  Sometimes, I can help by providing a link to my flickr photosharing site where I have almost 20 years of photos of projects completed that are organized into albums by topic and are searchable by keywords.  They say a picture is worth a 1000 words.

Here's the link:  Twenty Years of Embroidery Projects on Flickr

Under My Needles Today

One of the most popular items this time of year is a pair of aprons for the bride and groom in mixed media. The bride's apron is embellished with sparkling rhinestones and the groom gets embroidery. Some couples have used these at the reception as they change up the old tradition of the receiving line to a more modern, intimate guest greeting of personally serving the wedding cake to each guest themselves. The aprons protect their beautiful wedding attire in a stunning way.
